Exciting news came my way...I have been selected as an Artist in Residence at Petrified Forest National Park for the month of January, 2016!! This was my first time applying for a residency with the National Park Service, so I am honored to have been selected for this competitive process. I will spend three to four weeks living in the park, documenting the intimate details of the ancient landscape with my macro lens! A finished piece of art will be donated to the park to be hung at their visitor center. I will also present to park visitors and local schools. My presentation will focus on the vital role photography plays in empowering individuals to live a more sustainable life and to take care of our planet! More details to come on the presentations:) Be on the lookout for more information about this residency.
